About Me

 Welcome to Vision Village!

My name is Taliah Braun. I am 16 years old and I live in a little town in Manitoba. I have always wanted to talk to someone who has experienced some of the same challenges with being different visually and having a prosthetic eye. My parents and i have searched for something over the years that could connect me with someone. But we couldn’t find anything. One evening I was expressing to my parent how it felt like I was all alone, and how I wished there was someone who knew exactly what it was like. And that’s when the idea of creating a website came into my thoughts. I wanted to create a place where kids could find someone just like them. My hope for making this website is to help kids and teens feel like they are not alone, and that someone understands what it is like.
